BLVD Moving – What Not to Put on the Truck
(A quick-reference guide for customers who’ve never moved before)
Why some things can’t ride along
Perishables spoil fast. Fruit, veggies, frozen food, or half-opened dry goods can leak, mold, or attract pests.
Hazardous materials are illegal to haul. Explosives, flammables, and many household chemicals can ignite or corrode other freight.
High-value personal items are safer with you. Think cash, passports, laptops, jewelry, and vital paperwork.
BLVD liability ends here. Anything on this list that sneaks onto the truck travels at your own risk; any spills or damage void claims.
Exception: If your entire trip is ≤ 150 milesand delivery happens within 24–48 hours, your crew may agree to take tightly sealed perishables—but only with advance approval.
